Arrow Park Wedding Photos: Back in November, I had yet another memorable wedding at Arrow Park Lake and Lodge with such a loving couple!  This bride and groom were so laid back, it was surprising.  It was one of those big Italian weddings (which I haven’t seen in a while, and no stranger to with MY last name) and it smooth sailing all day.

Preparation was epic: a very common scenario of minor chaos with hair, make up, and girls everywhere scrambling to get ready.  But once Ashley was ready to read the card from her husband to be, the room went quiet and had lots of tears.  My assistant Steve was with the boys, and they did the same thing with Anthony.  However, looking back at the file data, at one point they were reading the cards at the exact same minute!  Pretty cool… Once in her dress, Ashely wanted to do a first look with her dad.  As usual I suggested the inside stairwell as in the main house- it’s perfect.  They both were a mess!  Crying, laughing, blowing noses, trying not to ruin make up- Steve and I could NOT capture enough of that!  It was really sweet to witness that moment, and that set the mood for the rest of the day.

Cocktail hour was great mix of all sorts of options- it’s always the time I try to eat so that I’m good to go the rest of the nighy.  But the party really started once the reception began- and I’m not kidding!  Unique Entertainment hit it out of the park right from the start.  Once announced, they had a dry ice machine that made the floor look like one big cloud, an amazing sound system, TV monitors on each side of the stage, great lighting for not just them but the crowd, a live percussionist, and to top is all off two dancers on STILTS rocked the dance floor!  I was amazed like everyone else there, and I could not stop talking about it for weeks.  Congrats to the bride and groom, and I can’t wait to design their album!
