Best of Hudson Valley Weddings 2025: From proposals, to engagements, to weddings, and all the headshots and portraits in between, it’s been yet another great year at J.Ferrara Photography! I say this all the time and I mean it: it’s an honor to capture so many one of kind moments, and that fact that this is my job still humbles me. I’m entering my 23rd year as a professional photographer, and I honestly cannot remember a time when photography was not part of my life- even as a little kid drooling over cameras through the display glass at department stores…
This year brought me to familiar wedding venues, new places, and a couple weekends away: Soyuzivka Center, Glen Island Harbor Club, The Grandview, Twin Ponds on the Farm, Hudson Valley Brewery, Arrow Park, Watermill Caterers, quite a few back yard weddings, and a few other small restaurants.
I’m so fortunate I’m given the opportunity photograph the best moments of peoples’ lives. I not only get to witness iconic memories as they happen, but to shoot it and make those images come to life. I started shooting weddings for the hell of it in 2002, and just one year later- I formed a business and made photography my full time job. I wouldn’t change it for the world. Thank you to everyone who trusted me to capture their memories that will last for generations!
