Crabtree Kittle House Wedding Photos: When Rachel and Brian came in for their studio engagement shoot, they were so quiet and reserved. I never imagined how crazy (in a fun way) the wedding day would be. Right from the start of prep, the whole gang was in party mode. From there we popped over to the church, where everyone there could not have been more happy for the couple. Back and Kittle House, we walked around fighting the hard sun, and then went into cocktail hour. At one point during the reception, I went up to Brian to get his wedding band so I can shoot close ups of the rings. He looks at me and says, “I lost it…. don’t have it” Just like that! He was so calm about it, and surprisingly so was Rachel. From that point on we were all on “finding the ring” mission. The boys and I had all my LED lights looking everywhere for it. Eventually is was found in the garbage mixed up with some paper towels. It just goes to show you how the couple was like, “whatever, it’s our wedding day! Let’s have fun!” A great attitude to have..
Here are some words from the happy couple: “Picking Crabtree’s Kittle House was one of the only decision Brian and I had fully agreed on during our whole planning process. We loved their rustic design, beautiful grounds, and how their food was absolutely delicious. Aside from being the ONLY venue we were both in agreement on, it had history for Brian. It was a restaurant his late grandparents would frequently take him to as a child, so it was extremely special for him to have those memories there. After seeing Jimi’s work from a friend’s wedding we were instantly attracted to his style and aesthetic. The different angles used and the way colors popped in each photo truly showed that Jimi had an eye for detail. The way he captured beauty and emotion in each shot led us to knowing we wanted to use Jimi for our wedding. The final products from our wedding day did not disappoint! Thank you Jimi!”
