I was so excited to shoot this intimate wedding at Dramatic Hall! Carrie contacted me a while ago and asked if I was interested and when I looked up the place, my jaw dropped. It’s the 3rd floor of a totally reconstructed building, 3 years in the making. The hall itself has a stage, symmetrical staircases, a bar upstairs, an amazing sound system, and great lighting.
Even though it was a beautiful day out, once Carrie and Tony entered the building, there were not going to leave until the end of the night. I don’t blame them, and I did not mind. Each floor had it’s own character, and I just went with it. There was no first look, and no bridal party. They arrived, went into portraits, into cocktail hour, then ceremony, and finally dinner. Later in the night, they had dueling pianos taking requests!
