Greenport Wedding Photos: Naomi + Eric: This happy couple couldn’t have asked for a better day! The weather was perfect, the wedding party was all about having fun, and the guests were partying HARD all night. This was my first time going to The Greenport, and what a great venue. The preparation areas alone are amazing. There’s a room big enough downstairs where the girls can get hair and make up done, get fully dressed, have some food and drinks by a bar area, and hang out for hours. For the boys, there’s a room upstairs with plenty of window light, big tv on the wall, and enough space for everyone- and all liquor for the shots… For the ceremony, they bring you to a secluded outdoor area that’s totally private, that appears out of nowhere. There’s nothing to distract you from couple and their vows. Cocktail hour is outside as well on this super cool patio area, with fire pits, lounge area, and passed hors d’oeuvres. To top it all off, the reception room feels like you’re seeing a concert. There’s a stage, a mini balcony, and flawless lighting. Overall the room is built for a party.
Getting back to the couple, Naomi and Eric had their first look in a home nearby. She was all smiles and could not wait for this moment. Eric was a little nervous at first, but once he saw his bride to be, it was smooth sailing from there! The grounds at the house had everything we needed. All of our bridal portraits was shot there, and afterwards I was like, “we’re done!” These two are so good in front of the camera, and so sweet. I’m very happy for both of them, and the whole family. It was such a memorable wedding, I felt like a guest all day. I’m really looking forward to shooting more weddings at The Greenport!
