I’ve know the Fidanza family for a long time. They’ve been coming to me for holiday cards, portrait sessions, etc for at least 10 years now, and it’s always good to see them. There’s 3 girls, and one boy, and not only are all of them polite, and full of life, but great in front of the camera.
A couple years ago I did a studio senior session with Alessia’s older sister. I certainly don’t specialize in senior portraits, but absolutely can provide sessions in studio or on location. For her session, we mixed it up a bit with some outfits, lighting styles, and cap and gown. Afterwards, the end result was a 10×10 album fully retouched and personally designed by me- which is always the case. This time around with Alessia, we did pretty much the same thing with outfits and set ups, and her album is almost in production. She was great in front of the camera, and totally open to ideas, as well as had a game plan as well. Just the way any kind of shoot should go when it comes to a senior session. Here are my favs!
On a side note, one year when I was offering my holiday card special, we had a situation… The special I offer is a mini studio session that is at the most 20 minutes. For whatever reason, the little one was just not having it- she was crying the ENTIRE time. There was nothing we can do, and we just had to go with it. So, afterwards we all decided to use the images we had, and design something that was at least entertaining. I suggested some ideas, so Paula, and we came up with a card that she tells me people still talk about. I just contacted her and of course she still has at least one card laying around. I figure I have to enclose it 🙂
