DESTINATION WEDDINGS

I have well over 30 destinations under my belt as a professional wedding photographer- from locations such as Mexico, Aruba, Dominican Republic, Bermuda, St John, St Croix, Jamaica, and many other domestic cities. I’ll propose a custom package with an engagement session, full wedding day coverage, and wherever I go- a camera comes with me to capture the trip. The average rate is  $3550 for most island locations, which includes flight, hotel, expenses, and of course photography for the main event. I would love to meet with you to discuss your destination plans!

HEADSHOTS + PORTRAITS

Rates for headshots and family portraiture in studio start at $250 for the session. For corporate, lifestyle, or any other specific shoot, please call or email the studio for rates, and I'll gladly send you a brochure.

Long story short, young Jimi Ferrara purchased his first pro level camera in 8th grade, and considered himself a photographer ever since. He later graduated with a BFA in Cinematography and minor in Photography. After college, he started worked in the film business as a union Camera Assistant, Local 600 on movies and commercials. Along the way he became exclusive with the Saturday Night Live Film Unit. He built a darkroom in his house in 1998, and was hooked all over again with creating photographic art. In 2003, he officially started a professional photography business in the Hudson Valley, and left the world of movie making and SNL soon after. Coming from a filmmaker's background has given Ferrara an undeniable advantage in telling a story through still images, as well as being extremely efficient with a given timeline.

Based in the Hudson Valley, and an active member of the Professional Photographers of America, James has won countless awards on a national and state level. He earned his Masters of Photography with the PPA in 2010, a PPA Craftsmanship in 2018, and is also a PPA Certified Professional Photographer. He is always attending seminars to further his education, as well as speak on a national level.
