As you can see from this website, I’m at Mohonk Mountain House a LOT, and I am very grateful for that.  I’ve been shooting there since 2003, when I first started weddings.  I’ve shot hundreds of weddings, engagements, lifestyle, family gatherings, corporate events, and when a proposal comes my way I jump all over it to make it happen.  I must say I have a system down that work 100% of the time, which allows me to be right there with the couple and not hidden in the bushes.  Back in October, Justin contacted me about capturing this big day.  We went back and forth on where to actually do it, but he was really hoping for the dock.  I was perfectly fine with that, but with just one concern (besides falling in the lake): too many people around with vests on making a huge eyesore for the images.  So we agreed to play it by ear.  Just as fate had it, as we approached the dock, no one was on the dock.  It was perfect.  There were a lot of people lakeside that witnessed the proposal, and it was really nice to hear all the cheers.  From there we walked around for a quick shoot and below are some of my favorites.  After I left, I actually went right to shoot another proposal shoot at Glenmere Mansion.  That’s a first- two in one day…
