Monteverde Wedding Photos: Jessica + Chris: It was a perfect early Fall day for a wedding at Monteverde! It’s such a interesting venue, I love shooting there. The grounds are great: a killer view of the Hudson River, a grand staircase leading down the ceremony site, and a patio area that feels like your backyard. Mary Ellen and her staff is fantastic, but the best part is that the couple has the entire mansion. There are so many amazing rooms, all with their own character. There’s even a private bar, where typically the boys hang out in and get ready. Jessica and all her girls got ready upstairs where there is a hair and make up room.
Laura Moore and her make up team did brought all the women to a new level! There were some really sweet moments with the bride and her daughter that I’m so glad I was able to capture. I even had the opportunity to capture 4 generations of moms. The rest of the day was smooth sailing, with some of the best light I’ve ever seen for a ceremony and a super fun reception! I can go on and on about how perfect the day was, and how great Jessica and Chris were in front of the camera. Here are just a few of the highlights from this wedding.
