If you have never heard of Red Hat on the River, in Irvington NY- you should. I has such character, and the perfect setting for Britt and Giuseppe. They’re both so down to Earth, laid back, and their wedding day was perfect! We even had a great sunset. Here is their story:
“Giuseppe and I met on a very random chance date when I was working a short nursing contract in NY for just 3 months. I swear our first date he made me laugh the entire time and we just flowed so well! We even kept coming up with excuses to elongate the date making stops at Pottery Barn and REI. I think we knew really early on that we were what we had been looking for, and that all the bad first dates had finally come to an end. After surviving a long distance relationship and an entire year just the two of us in 2020, we knew this was it!
When it came time for wedding planning, we envisioned our ceremony on the water and a lovely sit down dinner for our closest friends and family. Red Hat had everything we were looking for and made every aspect of planning seamless even in the midst of a very challenging time. With an intimate ceremony of just forty people, we had just that wonderful experience we had hoped for with a sincerely magical evening.
What made this whole experience even better was Jimi capturing our moments from the start to the end of the day. He was recommended to me by a friend and after seeing her gorgeous photos I knew he had to be our photographer. He knew all the right locations and angles to beautifully capture our wedding day, and I am eternally grateful for the amazing memories he has given us.”
I can’t thank them enough for their kind words! Here are some of my favorites…
