Two Hearts Vineyard Wedding Photos: It was the hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures reaching 110… and Liz said this all week before the wedding, “it’s gonna snow on Saturday!” What an amazing attitude to have! She didn’t care about the the heat, all she cared about was enjoying her wedding day at Two Hearts Vineyard at Magnanini Winery. Back in November they came in studio for a different kind of engagement shoot, and since then I was really looking forward to this day. In fact, it was their session that made me completely change how I approach studio engagements.
We started out at her mom’s house which ended up being more hair and make up girls than you can shake a stick at! They all had so much fun, I’m so glad I was there for a while. I knew so many of the girls, which is always a great thing. Meanwhile, my assistant Justin was off shooting the guys, and we all met soon after at the church. Then came the heat! From then on, we only had AC in the Tasting Room at Two Hearts, which helped. The game plan was to go out and shoot a little, cool off, then go back out again. Which I’m so glad we did because some of my favorite portraits of them were in the Tasting Room, which I may never had done if it wasn’t so hot out. Sometimes, you just have to go with the flow…
Once the reception started DJ Victor and Jay Vargas kept the house rocking as always, with the entire crowd on their feet- I love you guys! The night was so much fun, even when a totally unexpected thunderstorm came, which apparently was only in that town. Congrats to Liz and Chris, I’m so happy for you two!
