North Shore House Wedding Photos: It was my first time going to North Shore House in NJ, and I cannot wait to return! So much so, I’m thinking of booking a weekend getaway there. It’s such a great location, with so much amenities. I had the honor of photographing Rich’s sister’s wedding in Naples Florida in 2007 and it was so nice to see the family again! Big shout out to the amazing event planning and design team at Fifty Shades of Planning. They did a job that was unlike I’ve never seen before- just wait until you see the decorations below!

I asked the couple to write a little bit for this blog, and here’s what they said: “We met the way most people meet this day- online of course. It was a beautiful union of two souls who in reality had no idea what they were doing and somehow fate put them together. The cosmopolitan girl from Fort Lee and the country guy from New Milford got together and after just a few short dates. Glad we did, because the rest is history and now, we’re husband and wife…

Having known Jimi and been impressed with his 20+ plus years journey as a professional photographer, the obvious choice for who to shoot our special day was an easy one. Trusting Jimi to capture the most amazing moments in such artistic fashion tells a story “Our story”.  All while remaining unobtrusive, coming from someone not entirely comfortable being in front of a camera. Jimi just makes beauty happen and the results speak for themselves…

With literally hundreds of amazing venues ranging from the beautiful Hudson Valley, the Catskill Mountains to NYC we chose the beautiful North Shore House in Stillwater, NJ to say “I do”. Having ties to the area, our first visit was literally love at first sight. Resting on the northern most point, the 270-degree pristine views of Swartswood Lake are a photographer’s dream and Jimi made it happen. Capturing every moment for us to enjoy, reminisce, laugh, cry and most of all share with others the love that was shared all around that beautiful day”

According to the staff at NSH, this was the first time they ever did one long table. There was nearly 300 flowers, around 70 guests, and we all lost count how many feet it was. It was very impressive! Go @fiftyshadesofplanning
