Best of Hudson Valley Weddings 2023: From proposals, to engagements, to weddings, to lifestyles, and all the headshots and portraits in between, it’s been another great year at J.Ferrara Photography! It really is an honor to be first row for so many moments, and that fact that this is my job still humbles me. I wrapped my 20th year as a professional photographer, and I honestly cannot remember a time when photography was not part of my life- even as a little kid.
This year led me to familiar wedding venues, new places, and weekends away: Stella New Hope PA, Bird and Bottle Inn, Fox Hollow, Pratt Mansions, West Hills CC, Mohonk, Tappan Hill, The Grandview, Villa Venezia, Kittle House, FEAST at Round Hill, 7 Miles to Kingston, Mountainville Manor, Drowned Lands Brewery, Buttermilk Falls, a two day wedding at Soyuzivka, Pleasantly Devine Stables, Stissing House, Locust Grove, Cromwell Manor, Ethan Allen Hotel, and other random restaurants and barns and a few small venues in between.
Here are just some of my favorites from this past year. It’s always so hard to narrow it down to a comfortable number… Shout out to my lead photographer Steve for not only helping me out, but capture some amazing images. Looking forward to 2024!
I’m so fortunate I’m given the opportunity photograph the best moments of peoples’ lives, and I really mean that. I not only get to witness iconic memories as they happen, but to capture it and make those images timeless. Thank you to everyone who trusted me to capture their memories that will last for generations… Here’s to another 20 years!
