Best of Hudson Valley Weddings 2024: From proposals, to engagements, to weddings, and all the headshots and portraits in between, it’s been another great year at J.Ferrara Photography! It really is an honor to capture so many one of kind moments, and that fact that this is my job still humbles me. This was 21st year as a professional photographer, and I honestly cannot remember a time when photography was not part of my life- even as a little kid drooling over an SLR camera through the display glass.
This year led me to familiar wedding venues, new places, and quite a few weekends away: Black Walnut Farm, Hudson Valley Brewery, Wheatley Hills Golf Club, Rockville Links Club, North Shore House, Mountainville Manor, Briarcliff Manor, Vanderbilt Lakeside, Mountain Lakes Park, Fox Hollow, West Hills CC, Mohonk, Tappan Hill, The Grandview, Villa Venezia, Kittle House, Drowned Lands Brewery, Cromwell Manor, and a few small venues in between.

I’m so fortunate I’m given the opportunity photograph the best moments of peoples’ lives, and I really mean that. I not only get to witness iconic memories as they happen, but to shoot it and make those images timeless. I always was into photography growing up, and I starting shooting weddings for the hell of it in 2002. Just one year later, I formed a business and made photography my full time job. I wouldn’t change it for the world. Thank you to everyone who trusted me to capture their memories that will last for generations!
