Drowned Lands Wedding: Alexis + Al: It was such a great day for their wedding, especially since it was the Forth of July! It was about a year ago when we all went to the park in Cornwall for their engagement shoot. They were so chill that day, and even more so the day of the wedding. It all started at The Warwick Inn, which even under construction is is still amazing. The rooms there are great, as so is the grounds. We shot a little prep, first look, and some portraits. Once we hit Drowned Lands, the staff couldn’t have been nicer. We had the private room upstairs and the entire space stayed very cold on this super hot day- always a good thing!

From the bride herself: “When Al and I first started dating, one of the things that we bonded over was visiting breweries and drinking beer. When it came time to pick a wedding venue, we wanted a place that screamed “us.” After touring a few venues, Drowned Lands just seemed like the perfect fit for us. The unique history of the building, the grounds where it is located, and the delicious beers they brewed sealed the deal for us to choose Drowned Lands for our wedding day!

July 4th is one of my favorite holidays. Every year, my parents would have breakfast with the neighbors before the Cornwall parade: coffee, donuts, and mimosas in the morning. We would walk to the end of our street, sit on the curb, and watch the floats, bands, and classic cars go by. When I got older, my dad purchased a classic car. A lifelong dream of his was to be able to drive in the parade. He would buy hundreds of mini Tootsie Rolls to throw out to the kids on the parade route. Sadly, my dad passed away in 2021.  I connect so many of my fondest memories of him to July 4th, and when Al and I were looking to choose a date, we wanted something a little different, and July 4th seemed like the perfect fit.”
